Welcome to the Victoria Hemlick State Farm Agent office in Akron, Ohio!

I’ve been part of the State Farm family for 26 years, beginning my journey in 2000 as an Agency Field Specialist supporting agents throughout the Akron area. After earning my degree in Business/Marketing from the University of Akron, I discovered a true passion for helping people feel confident in their insurance decisions—and that passion led me to open my own agency on April 1, 2008. Today, we’re proud to be celebrating 18 years serving our community from the scenic Portage Lakes area of New Franklin, Ohio.

Our office is located on Route 619 (489 W. Turkeyfoot Lake Road), between Manchester Road and Turkeyfoot Golf Course—in a red-sided home with State Farm signage that’s easy to spot. We serve Good Neighbors across Summit County, including New Franklin, Green, Barberton, Norton, Canal Fulton, Clinton, Mogadore, Ellet, Manchester, Coventry Township, Akron, Stow, and Cuyahoga Falls, as well as surrounding areas in Medina, Stark, Portage, and Wayne counties. What truly sets our team apart is the experience and care we bring to every conversation. My husband, Jeff, has joined the office as a Property and Casualty team member with over 30 years in the insurance industry, and Chris, our Customer Service representative, is a trusted and friendly resource for our customers. Together, our team brings more than 40 years of combined industry experience, and we pride ourselves on being professional, knowledgeable, and helpful in every interaction. When you call or stop by, you’ll speak with someone who takes the time to understand your situation and walk you through your options with clarity and care.

Outside the office, I enjoy staying active and connected to our local community. You’ll often find me hiking in the MetroParks, working in my vegetable and landscape gardens, or trying out new recipes—especially when I can cook with something fresh from the garden. My family and I also spend a lot of time at the baseball field supporting my son, Dashel, who attends Hoban High School and plays both school and travel baseball. We love visiting ballparks when we travel, exploring the game, the food, and the atmosphere in each new place.

As proud pet owners of two English Labs, Raphael and Midge, we’re always happy to welcome dogs into the office—and we even keep treats on hand for our four-legged visitors.
